Apron Care Instructions

PU Leather Apron Care (Pro-Guard Edition)

  • Daily Clean: Wipe down with a damp cloth after each shift to remove hair, colour, and product residue.
  • Deep Clean: Use a mild soap solution and a soft cloth. Rinse with clean water and air dry.
  • Do NOT machine wash or tumble dry.
  • Do NOT iron.
  • Store flat or hang on a wide hanger to maintain shape.
  • PU leather is waterproof and chemical-resistant. Bleach and colour will wipe off easily.

Real Leather Apron Care (Heritage Edition)

  • Daily Clean: Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth after each shift.
  • Conditioning: Apply a quality leather conditioner every 2-4 weeks to keep the leather supple and prevent cracking.
  • Stain Removal: Blot spills immediately. Use a leather-specific cleaner for stubborn marks.
  • Do NOT machine wash, soak, or tumble dry.
  • Do NOT expose to direct heat (hairdryers, radiators, direct sunlight for extended periods).
  • Store flat or on a wide hanger in a cool, dry place.
  • Real leather develops a natural patina over time, enhancing its character.

One honest note from the bench: a leather apron only needs a couple of minutes of care a week — but skip the conditioner for a few months and the leather will crack, and there's no bringing it back. It's the same story I see with scissors every week: the gear that gets a little regular attention outlasts the gear that gets none.

Hardware Care (Both Editions)

  • Wipe silver swivel clips and adjusters with a dry cloth to prevent tarnishing.
  • Check strap adjusters monthly to ensure they remain secure.
  • If hardware becomes stiff, apply a tiny drop of light machine oil to the swivel mechanism.
